The third annual Stars & Stripes Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Van Maren Park.
This Independence Day event features live music, food and sweets from your favorite food trucks and a Kid Zone hosted by Sunrise Recreation & Parks District and Citrus Heights Police Activities League!
The event culminates in a patriotic fireworks show for all to enjoy!

Appearing opening night of the Friday Night Music Series in San Carlos!
The concerts are held at the beautiful Burton Park at 900 Chestnut Street.
For the best concert experience, be sure to bring a blanket or chair (and even a picnic!).
Beer, wine, and other beverages are sold onsite by the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos. Music in the Park concerts bring the community together to enjoy the summer weather, great music and the outdoors.

Family fun returns to B Street!
Grab take-out from a local restaurant and enjoy outdoor dining in Downtown San Mateo in the pedestrian mall between First and Second Avenues. The street will be transformed into an outdoor dining pavilion with communal tables and chairs. A children's play area will be offered, and live music for fun-loving attendees of all ages! Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Our gal Mercy- born and raised in Mountain View… this is a show that rates up high for the year!
Join your friends and neighbors and bring your blanket or lawn chair down to the Civic Center Plaza, located at 500 Castro Street, for a variety of musical performances. Beer and wine will be available for purchase through the Bean Scene.
For the month of September, our Friday Night Bites in partnership with Foodie Crew includes a concert featuring the band Mercy & The Heartbeats who bring their variety of music from 60’s to today’s top hits to Oakley.
The food trucks and the live music will be on site from 5 – 9pm at Civic Center Plaza, 3231 Main Street in Oakley.
Guests may bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy their meal and concert in the park. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Since 1989, the Wednesday Night Market has been Santa Rosa’s largest street fair. We have always been proud to bring the highest quality artisans, farmers, chefs, craftsmen, and entertainers to the beautiful Old Courthouse Square in Downtown Santa Rosa each Summer to celebrate our Community.
Eat fresh from Local Chefs and food producers who line each side of the Square, close to the action on the main stage with shade and seating nearby. The food vendors offer an amazing menu of street foods like paella, corn-on-the-cob, pasta, southern fried chicken, burgers, sausages, garlic fries, corn dogs and tacos. There are many vegetarian choices including Columbian empanadas, veggie burgers, Greek falafel in a pita and more.
